Wedding Ring Commissioning Process
Emma-Kate offers a free consultation for wedding ring commissions and below is an overview of how Emma-Kate proceeds with a wedding ring commission.
Firstly, to get the ball rolling, it will involve an initial discussion about the proposed piece, this maybe in person, on the phone or now even via skype.
Once it’s clear what the requirements are in terms of the design style, metals, budget and stones etc. Emma-Kate will spend time designing several options and then compose a quote with estimates and timescales.
After the client has chosen a design an initial deposit of 50% of the cost is required before commencing with the piece.
In some cases a CAD design, wax or silver mock-up will be made to confirm the design and sizing before the piece is fully finished in the metal of choice which maybe silver, gold or platinum.
The wedding ring will then be beautifully packaged and securely delivered or can be collected in person from the Cardiff Jewellery shop.
